My Educational Philosophy

I believe that through creative and differentiated teaching strategies, all children can become engaged and invested in their learning. It is necessary to customize teaching and learning, with effective lessons that meet the individual needs of each learner, to benefit all students. Every child is unique and with guidance and support can use their special gift to make a difference in themselves and our world.

I believe in an inclusive learning environment where the the physical space is a holistic setting that provides students with the opportunity to express themselves freely, take risks and feel safe. Children deserve a stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, socially and spiritually. It is my desire to create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning for all children by incorporating hands-on and minds-on activities that activate student’s prior knowledge and engage them in their education.

I believe that building strong foundational relationships with your students is key to fostering a trusting and loving bond between education and learner. It is important to help students develop a deep love and respect for themselves, others, and their environment. My goal is to instill in my students the importance of an education and to become lifelong learners who thrive on always wanting to learn more and more.

I believe in an education system where no child is left behind.
